The Most Powerful Corvette Ever Built

The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X takes the already-savage ZR1 and adds a front-mounted electric drive unit, turning America’s sports car into a full hybrid all-wheel-drive hypercar. The twin-turbo 5.5L LT7 V8 alone makes 1,064 horsepower, and when you add the front axle’s electric motor, the ZR1X’s combined output climbs to a staggering 1,250 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque from the V8 plus 145 lb-ft from the electric motor up front. That’s more horsepower than a Ferrari F80 and right in line with the McLaren W1 — except the Corvette starts at a fraction of their price.

Numbers That Belong in Hypercar Territory

Chevrolet says the ZR1X will rocket from 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds and hit a track top speed of 233 mph — faster than both the Ferrari F80 (217 mph) and the McLaren W1 (217 mph). A Limited Edition for Monterey Car Week

Alongside the pricing announcement, Chevrolet revealed the ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition, a highly exclusive package debuting at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, in Carmel, California. It’s finished in Blade Silver Matte, Corvette’s first factory matte paint in 60 years, inspired by the Inca Silver color offered on the C1 Corvette from 1957 to 1959. Each build gets a numbered plaque along the interior waterfall speaker, orange-painted calipers, black exhaust tips, and carbon flash mirrors. Starting MSRP for the Quail Silver Limited Edition is $241,395, exclusively on the ZR1X 3LZ convertible, and production begins next year. The optional ZTK Performance Package adds higher spring rates, revised chassis calibrations, the ZR1X Carbon Fiber Aero Package, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires.
