The 2027 NX lineup is planned across four grade choices — Premium, Premium+, F SPORT, and Luxury — available in both HEV and PHEV configurations. The headline upgrade for PHEV buyers is a newly developed lithium-ion battery featuring an 8% increase in output and a 30% increase in capacity. Lexus also changed the battery’s cell layout from a conventional longitudinal arrangement to a transverse one, which simultaneously increases lateral body rigidity and lowers the center of gravity — two meaningful chassis benefits that come as a bonus alongside the EV range gains.

DC fast charging is now standard on NX PHEV grades — no longer a premium add-on. A Power Charge Port Door is included.
